1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this platform, including Career Compass, SmartHire AI recruiter tools, and referral partner services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
The platform provides AI-powered career and recruitment tools. Career Compass supports candidate preparation, while SmartHire AI powers recruiter features including resume analysis, job description matching, AI voice interviews and automated hiring reports. AI outputs are advisory and final decisions remain your responsibility.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Testing Access & Payments
During the current testing period, paid plan and credit terms are shown clearly before billing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service - including uploading unlawful content, attempting to reverse-engineer our AI systems, using the platform to discriminate unlawfully against candidates, or violating applicable data-protection laws when processing candidate information.
6. Candidate Consent
As a recruiter, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required from candidates before uploading their resumes or inviting them to AI interviews.
7. Intellectual Property
Career Compass, SmartHire AI and all related software, models, designs and branding are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of the content you upload and grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including hiring outcomes based on AI-generated reports.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
